Summary

  • JOB SUMMARY
      • With oversight and direction from Director Physician Services, UK Health, and the KDIP HR Director, the APP Recruiting Coordinator requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The APP Recruiting Coordinator is designed specifically to assist in the recruitment of qualified primary care midlevel providers and sub-specialist providers to enhance the medical staff to assist the Medical Affairs in developing a cohesive, KDMC-loyal medical staff with a strong referral-network system. Ensure completeness and orderliness of midlevel candidate files at all times with regards to all government regulations. 
  • DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Provides support and meets regularly with the Director Physician Services and CMO concerning office management issues and activities and the status of projects.  Identifies and evaluates the methods for improving workflow and cost effectiveness.  Assists in program-level policy development.
    • Oversees department-level trainee orientation.
    • Leads the recruitment and on boarding process assuring qualified candidates are hired and serves as a liaison to staffing agencies, colleges, and industry associations to assist in meeting staffing needs.
    • Develops, implements, and oversees the maintenance of filing, record keeping, distribution of materials, and other types of office/program systems.  Evaluates and standardizes office procedures and effectively troubleshoots and resolves issues.
    • Recruits qualified primary care and subspecialist midlevels to address the needs of the community and of the medical staff to further develop a cohesive, KDMC-loyal medical staff with a strong referral-network
    • Plans departmental annual events including recruitment, orientation, graduation, and various meetings and program-related events.
    • Organizes meetings and prepares and distributes materials for conferences and lectures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director Physician Services and CMO.
    • Email and voicemail management, Performs all general office duties, Prepares reports and compiles statistics.
    • Coordinates monthly APP onboarding rotation for all newly hired APP’s.
    • Understands and complies with work rules and safety regulations.
  • EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum requirement:
      • Bachelor's Degree or Associate’s degree with 4 years applicable experience
      • 2 years relevant industry experience  
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
