About Brenda: Brenda brought 18 years of healthcare experience with her when she joined the King’s Daughters team in 2022 as a Support Associate in Patient Services. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Care Administration from The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, OH, and joined the Human Resources team as a Recruiting Representative in 2023 and is a valuable resource to finding the right candidate for the many opportunities at King’s Daughters.

About Sydney: Sydney Strait joined the King’s Daughters team in 2021 as a PFC Support Associate with Patient Services. Sydney earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Marshall University. With her education and knowledge of the inner workings of the Medical Center under her belt, she moved to the HR Business Partner role in Spring 2023. Sydney enjoys helping our team members and leaders with any HR related questions.

She uses this expertise to successfully navigate the questions and needs of team members and leaders.

Alice's responsibilities include assisting team members with the all aspects of Kings Daughters benefits.

About Sarah: Sarah began her career with King's Daughters shortly after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration with an emphasis in management from Marshall University. Sarah's previous experience in customer service, in combination with her education, lends to her ability to work closely with team members to clarify benefits, assist with leave of absence and workers compensation, and benefit enrollment.

About Patty: Patty came to King's Daughters in 1998, starting as a File Clerk in the HR dept. and working in several HR positions throughout the years. However, having worked for Anthem Bluecross Blueshield for 5 years, her experience in benefits lended best to her current role as a Beneftis Representative. Now Patty assists team members with all facets of benefits from enrollment, claim and coverage issues, to processing pension retirement plans. Patty acts as a liaison between King's Daughters medical carriers, team members and dept. managers to get the answers or resolutions our team needs.

About Debbie: Debbie worked for Ashland Oil Inc. for 30 years before venturing into healthcare at King's Daughters in 2007. She started as a clerk in HR later becoming a recruiting tech. After several years in this role, she became a benefits tech in 2010 and switched her focus to supporting the benefits team. Today, as a benefits representative, Debbie is responsible for facilitating team members with retirement questions and enrollment, directly assisting the benefits manager and serving team members and visitors who visit the department.

About Julie: Julie joined the King's Daughters Human Resources team in 2021 and brings with her over 8 years of human resource experience. She currently coordinates new team member data, entering all required information into the Human Resource Information System, collecting and verifying new hire licensure and certification, and ensuring compliance for all team member processing needs.

About Lisa: Before joining King's Daughters, Lisa worked in various roles, including director for a pregnancy care and mobile center, a peer counselor and payroll and benefits coordinator for a distribution center. All the while, Lisa remained active in her community and her church. However, this is not Lisa's first experience in healthcare. As a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical office Assistant for 12 years, she uses her knowledge from these positions to bolster her current role as Clerk III in assisting our team members who visit and contact the HR Dept. every day.

About Bonnie: Bonnie began her career in Human Resources in 2004 as a clerk performing various duties and throughout the years has grown her experience through supporting the benefits team and the recruiting team in countless ways. Besides this work, Bonnie takes on the monumental responsibility of tracking and organizing the innumerable changes for team members such as position updates, transfers, pay changes, and any and all modifications in the HR information system.

About Britt: Britt joined KDMC in the fall of 2023 as KDMC’s Compensation Analyst. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Health Care Administration in 2016 at Shawnee State University. Although Britt comes from a vast range of industries, carrying more than 15 years’ experience in multiple administrative roles, her heart always finds its way back to the health care industry. Prior to joining the UKKD team she served more than 4 years in HR in the automotive industry, entering in at the ground level and constructing the compliance model of the dealership’s culture, while humbly serving her coworkers and community. Her eagerness to learn, adaptability to change and tenacity all pair together to foster a genuinely eager team member who is excited to help build and strengthen the structure of the Human Resource Team.

Prior to King's Daughters, she worked in customer service and management in the retail industry for more than 10 years. Dorey's expertise in compiling, analyzing and auditing data, as well as managing large volume compliance, makes her an invaluable member of the Human Resources team.

Earnie most recently became a SHRM Certified Professional.

Her education in Business Management and experience in human resources facilitate her responsibilities of recruiting for various career opportunities at Kingsbrook and allows her to build trusted relationships with team members as she leads newly hired team members through their pre-employment process and beyond.

About Adam: While finishing his bachelor’s degree in computer systems and math, Adam worked in the retail industry for 10 years, managing remodel projects and leading operations at area Walmart stores. He joined King's Daughters Benefits Team in 2012. In the summer of 2015, Adam moved to the payroll department as manager and a year later took on oversight of the benefits system. He currently serves as director of payroll operations.

About Maggie: Maggie’s career in Human Resources started at Corbin Ltd., a factory specializing in men’s garments, where she spent 8 years as Assistant to the Vice President which included managing benefits for two of the manufacturing plant locations, as well as, an office in New York. She moved to a new career with King's Daughters in December 1995 as the Assistant to the Vice President of HR. Later, using her lengthy expertise in benefits, she became a Benefits Coordinator in 1998. Maggie worked in this role until Oct 2013 when she promoted to the Benefits Manager position, most recently taking the role of Director of Total Rewards.

She has worked in various positions throughout the organization, including direct nursing care, nurse manager, Care Management director, and Human Resources since 2010. She uses her vast experience to recruit nurses for positions throughout King's Daughters with hopes they will have the same great opportunities she’s had during her tenure.

About Mandy: Mandy Medinger joined the leadership team in May 2023. Prior to coming to work at King's Daughters, Mandy served as the HR leader for Community Hospice in Ashland for over 19 years. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. With her vast knowledge and experience in HR and recruiting, she and her team will continue to identify top talent for King's Daughters.

About Larry: Larry began his career with King's Daughters in 2003 as a college intern while attending Ohio University earning a Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration. He joined the Benefits team shortly after and managed practice acquisitions before moving to the HR Information Services (HRIS) dept. Larry earned his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration in 2008 and teaches classes in this field at local colleges. He holds certifications as a Senior Certified Professional with SHRM (SHRM-SCP), Senior Professional in HR with HRCI (SPHR) and is Lean Practitioner certified as well. Larry’s extensive knowledge of information systems and human resources practices and policies is used every day to serve the dept. in his current role as Director of HRIS.

About Jamie: Jamie Parsons joined the senior leadership team in December 2022 and has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare human resources. Parsons earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master of science in management, both with a specialization in healthcare, from Marshall University. He’s a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and certified in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) by the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration. He’s also a Senior Certified Professional in the Society for Human Resources Management.
