Best Places to Work in Kentucky - 2024, 2025

UK King’s Daughters has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for the second year in a row! The honor, selected by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company, was bestowed on 100 companies statewide in 2025. The selection process, managed by the Workforce Research Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures as well as the results of an internal employee survey.

KCTCS Education First Employer

UK King’s Daughters was one of the first employers to take part in a new statewide initiative to support employees who are pursuing higher education. The Education First initiative, led by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, is designed to offer benefits to students, helping them to complete their educational credentials and flourish in the workplace. To achieve the designation, businesses pledge to provide tuition assistance and career growth and offer competitive wages. In northeastern Kentucky, King’s Daughters will continue its long-standing partnership with Ashland Community and Technical College.

American Heart Association Gold Recognition - 2024

The American Heart Association has awarded UK King’s Daughters a national Gold-level recognition for their commitment to team member health and well-being as measured by the AHA’s 2024 Workplace Well-being Scorecard™. King’s Daughters is one of more than 500 organizations nationwide that completed the scorecard, which evaluates factors such as mental health policies and organizational well-being strategies to address burnout, health equity measures, and employee financial resources to provide a comprehensive assessment of an organization’s culture of health.
