Job Summary

Responsible for providing expert-level guidance and technical direction for enterprise clinical applications. Serves as the primary escalation point for complex cross-functional issues and ensures consistency in build, testing, and optimization practices. Oversees large-scale implementations and enhancements, coordinates analyst activities, and ensures alignment with governance standards and organizational requirements.


Essential Functions

• Provides expert-level direction on complex system design, configuration, and integration.

• Serves as escalation point for high-impact or cross-functional application issues.

• Coordinates application build and testing activities across multiple teams to ensure quality and consistency.

• Oversees large-scale upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives.

• Develops and enforces standards, policies, and procedures for EHR build and configuration.

• Guides analysts in troubleshooting, documentation, and compliance practices.

• Partners with clinical leaders, governance bodies, and IT management to ensure application reliability and safety.

• Leads vendor coordination for technical issues, upgrades, and new functionality.

• Tracks performance metrics and ensures service levels are met across supported applications..

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree


Experience Requirement: 7+ years of experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
