Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating advanced clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care delivery and optimal clinic operations. Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows, enhance patient experience, and uphold quality and safety standards. Develops and mentors staff through training, feedback, and performance support to promote professional growth. Implements process improvement initiatives that strengthen clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.


Essential Functions

• Coordinates daily clinical operations and ensures patient flow efficiency.

• Prepares patients for examination, obtains vital signs, and documents medical information accurately.

• Administers medications and performs clinical procedures within scope of certification.

• Assists providers during examinations and minor procedures.

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to support care coordination.

• Trains, mentors, and provides feedback to medical assistant staff to promote competency and teamwork.

• Monitors supply levels and equipment functionality to support operational readiness.

• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Ensures compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area

Experience Requirement

5-7 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.


Certifications & Licensures

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
