Job Summary

Responsible for leading and participating in the delivery of patient care to ensure smooth daily operations of the department. Provides competent nursing services and demonstrates knowledge through effective use of the nursing process. Guides and supervises assigned personnel in patient care delivery. Ensures compliance with nursing guidelines, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinates pre-admission services and communicates with customers and medical staff to support , cost-effective care.


Essential Functions

• Assesses daily clinical and clerical processes to optimize patient flow and documents patient complaints, vital signs, and medications during clinic visits.

• Observes patients to detect abnormal symptoms and reads and understands medical records.

• Recognizes and documents patient and family learning needs, identifies influencing factors, and provides appropriate education.

• Identifies and corrects potential risks, follows universal precautions, and responds appropriately to emergency situations to ensure safety.

• Confers with physicians and health care team members to exchange patient information and medical records, reviews lab results, and assists with prescriptions as directed.

• Assists co-workers when workload permits, inventories and orders clinical supplies, and participates in departmental improvement projects.

• Completes work and documentation accurately and within established time frames, adhering to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.


• Supervises and directs clinic staff, manages scheduling and payroll, conducts meetings, and ensures staff competencies and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or a related field



Experience Requirement

0-4 years of experience in nursing or a relevant area


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Physical Demands
