JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of clerical and patient care activities under the direct supervision of licensed Radiology staff.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with patient care needs by using two patient identifiers in transporting and/or transferring of patients to and from exam areas and tables.
- Assist Radiologic Technologist in preparing exam rooms, equipment, and patient positioning for imaging procedures.
- Review patient charts and prior imaging as medically necessary in accordance to HIPPA in order to aid Radiology staff in the treatment of patients.
- Assist in emergency care.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirement:
-
Actively enrolled in an Accredited Radiologic Technology educational program. May perform tasks as limited per state licensing guidelines.

Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
