Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for providing administrative oversight of information technology and medication use. Improves medication management processes and enhances drug administration safety. Develops and implements informatics solutions to support clinical workflows. Collaborates with healthcare teams to optimize technology utilization. Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.


Essential Functions

• Designs, executes, and reports investigations of pharmacy practice issues.

• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers.

• Designs, recommends, monitors, and evaluates patient-specific therapeutic regimens.

• Provides timely and comprehensive drug information to patients and healthcare providers.

• Documents direct patient-care activities accurately.

• Participates in disease management and development of treatment guidelines and protocols.

• Prepares, dispenses, compounds, labels, and packages medications according to standards.

• Instructs pharmacy technicians, students, residents, and pharmacists.

• Participates in formulary management and quality improvement initiatives.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
