Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing HR policies to ensure organizational compliance. Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. Coordinates regulatory reporting and documentation processes. Monitors changes in laws and regulations impacting HR practices. Proactively identifies compliance risks and recommends solutions to mitigate exposure. Supports strategic HR initiatives through effective policy management.
Essential Functions:
• Develops and updates HR policies and procedures.
• Recommends and documents governance for policy implementation and ensures consistency across the organization.
• Develops and delivers training or communications to promote policy awareness and compliance across the organization.
• Monitors compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinates regulatory reporting and documentation submissions.
• Reviews and analyzes changes in employment laws and regulations.
• Advises HR and business leaders on policy interpretation and compliance matters.
• Conducts audits to assess policy adherence and mitigate risks.
• Prepares compliance reports and communicates findings to leadership.
• Supports HR strategy and governance initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience in human resources, business administration, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
