Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting quality, patient safety, accreditation, and infection control standards across assigned areas. Collaborates with unit and service line leadership to ensure all healthcare team members maintain performance standards for professional practice and clinical care. Leads efforts to enhance medication safety and reduce risks associated with medication use. Ensures timely and accurate clinical documentation. Drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and compliance initiatives.


Essential Functions

• Observes and evaluates medication delivery processes for safety and effectiveness.

• Analyzes medication-use data and conducts interviews across patient populations.

• Applies performance improvement methodologies to identify risks and solutions.

• Monitors and measures progress of quality and safety initiatives.

• Reviews care provided and audits medical records to identify improvement opportunities.

• Collaborates with department leaders to implement and evaluate quality improvement activities.

• Provides peer leadership and serves as a resource for patient care and unit activities.

• Assists staff in developing problem-solving and decision-making skills related to quality and safety.

• Leads healthcare team members in initiatives to improve patient care outcomes.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field

Master’s degree in nursing is preferred


Experience Requirement

2-3 years of experience in healthcare administration, public health, or a relevant area


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state

Physical Demands
