JOB SUMMARY

Plans, directs and coordinates activities concerned with modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in medical center by performing the following duties personally or through Plant Operations Team Members.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-
Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
-
Understands and complies with work rules and safety regulations.
-
Directs maintenance of Medical Center buildings and grounds, coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.

Manages / supervises all non-exempt employees in the Plant Operations Department. Included but not limited to maintaining schedules, maintaining the Preventative Maintenance system, performing audits on completion rates.

Is responsible for the assigned direction, coordination and evaluation of this Department.

Other duties as assigned relating to the Facilities Operations.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum requirement:
-
Associates degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training including large, HVAC and Electrical Systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience, healthcare preferred.
-
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
