Job Description:
Job Summary
Conducts diagnostic evaluations, including comprehensive audiological assessments, VNG, and electrophysiology. Dispenses and manages hearing aids while offering recommendations based on diagnostic findings. Collaborates with audiologists and physicians to ensure exceptional patient care. Travels as needed to support patient and departmental needs.
Essential Functions
• Performs an average of 5 billable diagnostic audiology services each clinic day.
• Provides comprehensive audiologic and vestibular assessments for pediatric through adult populations.
• Assists in providing complete coverage of Otolaryngology clinics, including managing work-in patients and off-site locations.
• Conducts special diagnostic testing, including electrophysiological, electroacoustic, and vestibular evaluations.
• Dispenses and fits hearing aids and auditory implants, and assists with cochlear implant programs.
• Recommends and provides rehabilitative services for individuals with hearing disorders.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Counsels patients, families, and other stakeholders, ensuring professionalism and patient confidentiality.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams, professional development, and department initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in audiology, speech-language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or a related field
Master’s degree in audiology, communication sciences and disorders, or a related field is preferred
Experience Requirement
2-3 years of experience in audiology, hearing assessment, or clinical practice, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
