Job Summary

Responsible for performing installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and boiler equipment. Inspects and tests emergency generators and associated circuitry to ensure proper operation. Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical equipment, physical structures, and facility grounds. Maintains cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the environment for residents, staff, and the public. Ensures compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions

• Inspects, tests, and maintains heating, cooling, and air conditioning equipment.

• Performs preventive and reactive maintenance on physical plant equipment and systems.

• Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical equipment and circuits.

• Dismantles devices, examines parts, and repairs or replaces defective components.

• Installs and repairs building fixtures, furniture, hardware, and finishes.

• Operates metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts as needed.

• Maintains clean and safe grounds, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and litter control.

• Completes and documents maintenance tasks, work orders, and compliance paperwork.

• Assists with office moves, equipment relocation, and fixture installations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
