Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for greeting and assisting customers promptly and professionally. Schedules appointments and completes patient registration information accurately. Demonstrates proper telephone etiquette and processes information for billing. Ensures a positive customer experience and supports efficient administrative operations. Coordinates communication between patients and healthcare staff.


Essential Functions

• Answers phones, schedules appointments, and completes patient referrals and documentation in a timely manner.

• Completes all registration activities from check-in to check-out, maintaining current demographics and insurance information.

• Manages daily cash activities, including collecting payments, explaining financial requirements, balancing, verification, and deposit.

• Verifies insurance prior to patient visits when applicable.

• Manages office correspondence, medical record documentation, and processes medical records requests.

• Performs vision tests, whisper tests, drug screens, audiology and pulmonary function tests, fit testing, venipuncture and COVID throat swabs.

• Performs certified saliva and nail clippings tests.

• Travels onsite to assist with company testing as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area



Experience Requirement

0–2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area


An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.


Certifications & Licensures

Active State Registered Nurses Aide (SRNA) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS)

Physical Demands

This position requires intermittent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; intermittent performance of tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing or equipment operation); intermittent standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; occasional standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
